Information we collect
Account details (name, email, phone), profile information you choose to publish, verification documents you upload, and information you submit in requests, applications and messages. We also keep basic technical logs (such as sign-in times) to protect accounts.
Information about children
Tutoring requests collect only an age group and learning level. Class enrolments ask only for a first name or nickname. We do not ask for children's schools or photographs.
How we use information
- To operate profiles, listings, applications, classes and messaging
- To review verification documents — these are visible only to our moderation team
- To send the notifications you have switched on
- To keep the platform safe and prevent misuse
Sharing
Phone numbers, emails and full addresses are never shown publicly. They are shared only with the people you choose to engage with — for example, the institution you apply to. We do not sell personal information.
Prayer times and location
Prayer times, Qibla and the masjid finder run in your browser. If you allow location access, it is used to calculate times and find nearby masjids and is not stored on our servers.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, hide it from search, change notification settings or delete your account at any time from Settings.
